How can i ever forget??

Unmindful of the surroundings
When I tardily opened my eyes
Everything seemed gothic
But sooner I realised
That in an angel's hand I rested
And her warmth I felt inside.
How can I ever forget those compassionate splendid eyes
That assured that I'll be guarded, no tribulations I would face
I'll be raised with utmost care
Within the warmth of her embrace.
How can I ever forget
Those honeyed lullabies
That she sung comforting me
All those sleepless nights.
Holding whose hands I took my first steps
My guardian my leader
The so called 'hero of scrimmage'
The protector and the provider.
How can I ever forget that he has been a true mentor
From an eclair to worldly treasure
He has always been my Santa.
How blessed I feel
With two angels beside
A father poised like a Greek god
And a mother like an exquisite bride.
How can I ever forget
Those gestures those sacrifices
Aspirations to full fill all our dreams
And filling our lives with smiles.
I can never forget each time I had a fall
There were two supporting hands
That not only help me stand
But also rectified the rugged lands.
Those scoldings dipped in honey
That unaccountable money
Those serious words of wisdom
And those makeup talks so funny.
Each time their answering our endless recurring questions
Sometimes animating sometimes mimicking
And still smiling in each situation.
Can never forget those wet eyes
Which followed me at time of goodbyes
And those excited feet
Which on reunion jumped with joy.
Today where I stand
I realise what it is like to be a parent
It's being sophisticated servants to your child
But no job can be more pleasant.
So I kneel before god
That let me carry this gratitude to my parents
till the end of time
Let me not forget for a moment that I owe them what I am today
And I owe them all that is mine.

I love them and there would be no one else above them..EVER !!
