A dream

Last night as I laid in bed to rest my aching limbs, my soul ached for peace. So at midnight hour, under a deep slumber I slipped into a dream..
My soul went out for a stroll to an alluring and serene piece of land.
A huge vibrant garden in front..numerous enchanting flowers..their intoxicating fragrance..spectacular colorful sight.. It was all just breathtaking!!

As I threaded ahead I met a lil girl dressed in pink.. She held a red rose in hand.. With a twinkle in her eye she presented the rose to me.. Overwhelmed with the sweet gesture I accepted the flower but the thorn on the stem pricked my finger..
Ouch!! I exclaimed but the lil girl smiled n said "it's ok!!"
I thanked her for the flower and asked her who she was??
She said nothing..

She then blindfolded me..held my hand and took me inside the garden.
When she opened my eyes I saw an enticing butterfly..it sat on my palm..But as I tried to close my hands it flew away.

Few miles ahead was a splendid waterfall.. Roaring and gushing!! Making its path through the mighty rocks..

And right between this astounding valley, enclosed by a garden and waterfall, stood tall a stranded house..
The girl escorted me to the red bricked palatial abode. To my amazement, it was filled with paintings on its walls..paintings of all my dreams n desires..all I ever wanted to have n all I always wanted to be!!
For a moment I felt so accomplished and appeased.
I bent on my knees.. N with misty eyes held the hands of the lil girl and asked her again that who she was n what was this place??
She pointed towards a mirror.. And said
"Look I am the little girl inside u.
I am here to reintroduce u to urself and the world u live in.

The garden u saw outside signifies the life u nurture for urself..the rose symbolizes love and thorn represents pain!!
When u accept love, don't mind the troubles..the pain n the responsibilities it brings along.

The butterfly connotes relationships!!
If u hold tightly they DIE
If you hold Loosely, they FLY But if you hold with care,
They remain with you for ever.!!!!!

Water takes on the form in which it is held and moves in the path of least resistance.
The waterfall u saw conveys that mould urself according to the situations and take life as it comes. Be oblivious to all hurdles and keep moving on.

The house I took u to was of ur consciousness.. U are well versed with all your dreams and desires..I wanted u to revel in the moment of accomplishment which u experience when all your dreams come true.
Start working on them!! Those paintings will come alive."

The lil girl shook me inside out.
"Wake up and this time for real!!"

I woke up!! Rejuvenated and replenished!!
All set for the new day.. Full of love.. Embracing relationships..welcoming life and setting goals to suffice all my dreams..

One last time!!

A man on bed,in throes of death
Dying to survive, gasping one last breath
Pleading to the masters, oh pray!
I ask my merciful, but one last day.
Wasn't alone I realize, walking through life
But with a beautiful dedicated and devoted wife.
Warm heart, unconditional love.. She makes my life divine
Never thanked her..Let me kiss her one last time!!
So engrossed in work,
Quest quelled every stride 
My children are well fed,
Though childhood cried.
Awaits an incomplete sand castle,
An unheard nursery rhyme 
Oh lord! Let me play with them one last time!!
My parents acquainted me to this world,
Gave me wings to fly
How can I depart without even saying a goodbye.
For sweat, blood, sacrifices of theirs 
I was the reason prime 
Let me in gratitude embrace them for one last time!!
There at the nook my best friend stands 
Misty eyes, tremors and shaking hands.
He's been there through thick and thin, 
a partner in every crime.
Let me share the last joke and laugh aloud one last time..
And then a beaming white light and a hand shook me 
"Good morning!!" greeted my lovely wife
With a smile I joined hands to oblige
"Thank u lord for this last chance"
For I shall live!!..Live like it's for one last time.       

Save girl child

Little butterfly in its cocoon..

Waiting to be part of this world soon

Wants to smell the flowers n touch the dew drops

Wants to get tickled by the breeze n get drenched in the rain shower

Wants to live under the blue sky

Swap her wings n fly high

But all because she is not made of X and Ys

She doesn't have the right to survive??

Don't treat her like some obnoxious weed

Respect and love is what she needs

Coz she has been a synonym of sacrifice

N Submission has always been her pride

Don't forget that your daughter

would be someone wife

She will carry the legacy forward

So the next generations survive

Let your hands pamper n groom her

N not be blood stained

She is a blessing not a curse

So shall the fact remains!!

Each girl has right to live.. Right to survive

Say NO to female feticide!!

LIFE!!

Served in a hot platter..With a silver spoon in hand

A perfect balance of incense n essence is presented us the so called "life"

Life has been generous

Though all have few complaints

It has been smooth

Though lil grooves remains.

But I do wonder at times that what have we done with our lives??

As we got it for free..so is there no worth for life??

We all have this one birth n only one  life

Each day is the last day..tomorrow  is out of sight.

So do good..It does come back

N then count your blessings..Sure it will help.

Spread smile..It sweeps to miles

Love one n all..Say "we" not "mine".

Forget n forgive..Live n let live.

Not only prosper but grow

Swank no more.

Don't demand but request

Say please..never the less.

Don't judge..jump in their shoe

Think!! " if I was u?"

Make commitments..Mock promises no more

Be assertive!! Tumble no more.

Expect if u respect..Learn to introspect.

Stick to truth even when lie tempts

Mind ur deeds..It's better than to repent.

Say "sorry" only if it means

Say "thanks" it doesn't cost much.

Say words worth hearing

N learn to listen..don't interupt!!

Make resolutions but not on paper

Learn to follow ur dreams.

U'll achieve n receive

But only if u aim n believe.

I am not being philosophical

But yes it's the philosophy of life.

When u know what to do with it

U don't exist but live n relish life

The times flies

But each year is the new beginning

Lets have a inner self makeover

N beautify the life remaining....

The Mask!!

We all wear a mask, the mask of pretentions.

Covering the greed and false intentions.

Existing in the realm of its true self,

the uncovered claims to be like hell.

So the mask bring forth the heaven,

though hollow but still it dwells.

"It's me!! it's me!!" the truth shouts,

hiding behind the silken shroud.

Choked to death shall be its fate,

Deaf has been the pseudo crowd.

The pain inside survives in silence,

yet it demands to be heard.

The mask refuse to shed tears,

instead it strikes with ruthless words.

Our souls inside has been debt with guilt,

with contendness we live otherwise.

Superficially what we are, the mask may hide.

But our true inner self, can never be disguised.

Inspiration!!

I found myself in a dark gloomy place

Duskiness all around and not a single ray.

Dint know where I stood dint know what to do

Where indeed I was dint have a single clue.

I shouted in rage but no one heard

Felt as if I was stuck in quagmire.

Suddenly I saw two luminous eyes

Twinkling like a star in the twilight sky.

A conflict my brain on heart imposed

Were those eyes angelic or of some noxious ghost?

The probing eyes threaded towards me in a sec or few

And then proclaimed "At last I found u!!"

The eyes were of my soul searching me in ignorance of life

They awakened my conscious that to exist I have to strive.

I have to seek opportunities since failure is not my mission

I am born to conquest, of losing endurance I have no permission.

I have to keep the ball rolling no matter how steep is the slope

Since to attain eminence I have to dare to hope!!

Satisfaction

Started walking I saw someone threading along,

"I am excitement" it claimed.

Then i felt a sudden push,

"I am backing u n confidence is my name".

Sooner, i realised i was entangled by a rope to ambition n it said

"Come I'll show u way to fame".

As I forged ahead I met encouragement, happiness and glory.

On the way even wreck and disappointment shared its story.

I crossed each milestone with the thought "What's next?"

Even efficacy couldn't suffice my quest.

Met conquest met fame,

But whats that thing that i missed again.

Y after beating sorrow m still not glad?

What after each achievement I lack?

Then had rendezvous with self awareness and it revealed,

" Dote on what u have live our present,

craving for more living ur attainments u forget."

So i acknowledged that not only destination but even journey would have been pleasant if I would have discovered SATISFACTION.

Satisfaction make each chapter of live worth while.
